Recouping your losses
Monday September 15, 2008
If you need to move to another country or wish to buy a new mobile that has come out, then you may need to think about recouping your losses on cheap mobiles and mobile phone plans. Many people sign up to long term contracts due to the often higher quality of cheap mobiles on offer, but sometimes you will want to or need to change plans mid contract. This can require you to pay out the remainder of your plan, which will leave you severely out of pocket if you don't take steps to minimise the cost of changing mobile phone plans and buying new cheap mobiles.
If you find that you often need to cancel mobile phone plans before the contracted period is over, then you may want to consider finding more popular mobile phone brands when looking for cheap mobiles. This is because they may retain a decent resale value, which means that you may be able to make back some of the money you lose buying out your contract by selling your mobile phone. When you sign up for new mobile phone plans, you merely choose plans that offer good quality cheap mobiles as well.
