Are cheap mobiles right for you?

Cheap mobiles are a great way for people on tight budgets to afford good technology for a low price, but will you end up spending more in the long run by skimping on your mobile phone now? Many cheap mobiles come with extra features, like cameras and music playback capability. If these functions are not sufficiently high quality on cheap mobiles, however, you may end up paying for separate devices when a slightly higher expenditure on mobiles could have given you a more convenient option.

Another factor to consider is whether you are willing to pay for support of 3G networks. You may think this is unnecessary now, but Internet usage on mobiles is rising, and many affordable cheap mobiles come with this capability for only slightly more money than mobiles which do not. Remember, it's always a good idea to save money when you can, you just have to make sure you don't skimp too much when choosing from cheap mobiles.
