Cheap mobiles are often bundled with mobile phone plans, such as on Optus mobile phone plans and 3 (Three) mobile phone plans. If you are after a particular mobile phone, then you could do well to browse the range of cheap mobiles that service providers offer as a part of their mobile phone plans. These cheap mobiles can even contain the latest new mobile phone technologies, even the best of 3G mobiles, though newer mobiles on plans will often be offered at a low monthly repayment cost.

Not everyone can benefit from cheap mobiles on mobile phone plans, though. While the most popular mobiles are often on offer in order to entice new customers, sometimes such cheap mobiles are only available on mobile phone plans with higher minimum monthly spends. This can turn offerings of seemingly cheap mobiles into quite expensive mobiles when the added monthly expenditure is taken into account. Also, if you must later buy out of your contract, a higher minimum spend than you normally would have used can put you in a difficult financial fix.
