Be smart in choosing cheap mobiles

Monday October 13, 2008

Cheap mobiles will really only be a bargain if you do not need to spend extra in other areas in order to get them. Many mobile phone plans offer cheap mobiles as an incentive, but if you would need to use a plan that would require you to pay for more usage than you require, you may find that the cheap mobiles you can choose from aren't so cheap in the long run.

3G mobiles that provide the advantages of 3G in a way that is easy to use can be somewhat expensive, as only recently have 3G mobiles started to focus on user experience rather than just improved mobile phone technologies. Some providers of mobile phone plans, such as 3 (Three) Mobile, offer a range of decent 3G mobiles as free on longer term plans at the mid range price point. For example, the $49 monthly capped plan of 3 Mobile offers up to $590 of combined value as well as a choice from a large range of good quality cheap mobiles, including the popular Nokia N95 8GB Mobile Phone and the stylish Sony Ericsson W890i Mobile Phone when signing up for 24 months. This is reasonably good value for many people, as these phones have previously been quite expensive and $49 would be a fairly normal expenditure for many people who only use their cheap mobiles for basic communication.
