Activate

Activation is made even easier; iTunes will guide you through the simple activation process, from transferring your mobile number to choosing a plan.
Before you activate your iPhone, however, make sure you check and listen to your current voicemails. Reason being, especially if you’re an existing AT&T customer, the activation process will delete your existing voicemails. Additionally, if you’re transferring an existing number from another wireless operator, existing voice mails will not be transferred.
Also, make sure to check the email address that you provided during “Activating your iPhone” in iTunes. Apple and your service provider may need to contact you for additional information.

Sync Now there’s nothing left to do but follow the onscreen instructions to sync your contacts, calendars, music, photos, podcasts, videos, email accounts, and web bookmarks.
